WELCOME

Hello, and welcome to www.critchie.com! We just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a little about the studio and about ourselves. C. Ritchie Photography, Inc. has been photographing Williamsburg, it's families and it's visitors for over twenty years now. As you will see on our site, we specialize in families, children, weddings, high school seniors and public relations. Whether you are looking for a classic, traditional portrait of your child or a photojournalistic look of your wedding day, we can and would love to do it.

Our goal in the camera room or on location is to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible so that their true personalities are portrayed. Photography does not feel like a job to us. It is something we truly enjoy and have a lot of fun doing it. And we want our clients to feel the same way. We know we have accomplished our goal when our clients have had a good time and have enjoyed their experience with us.

OUR PHOTOGRAPHERS

Christie Buie

Christie joined the C. Ritchie staff as a photographer in the fall of 1997. In the winter of 1999 she became the owner of the studio. She loves the photography part of her work and puts up with the business end of things because it allows her to do what she loves, photographing people at all of their stages in life.

Cristen Zanca

Cristen also came to the studio in the fall of 1997 as a wedding assistant. She was then offered an internship the summer before her freshman year at the College of William and Mary. However, the internship did not end there. She continued to work through her college career and the more she worked in photography, the more she knew it was something she wanted to pursue. In 1999, Cristen began her photography training. Since then she has taken some photography courses and has attended many conventions. She is now our wedding photographer and also specializes in high school seniors.
